Hi Everyone!

Thank you all for visiting my page! My name is Kristen and I am an avid fan of books, movies, travel, hockey and animals.

Some of my favorite books include Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Midnight Club by Christopher Pike, Love Comes Softly series by Janette Oke, and The Landry Series of books by VC Andrews.  From a young age, reading has been my favorite pastime and opened me to worlds that I never could’ve imagined.

As for movies, I tend to lean more to classic movies (1930s-1940s) and horror films. The title of my blog “It Happened While Writing” is actually a nod to one of my favorite classic movies “It Happened One Night” featuring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.

The creative genius that transports you to a different time or place has always made me want to be an author. I am currently working toward making this dream a reality, and I would love to be able to share some of my ideas along the way.
